New HQ Appointment – Head of Learning, Sarah Tedesco

 

 

SarahTedescoSarah Tedesco has been appointed Head of Learning commencing Thursday 22 January 2015. To support the Institute’s strategic direction for 2015 2017, the key responsibilities for this newly created role include revamping the Institute’s CPD Program, ensuring relevance of qualifying education, and university liaison.

Sarah has spent the last five and a half years in senior management positions at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Chartered Accountants leading the teams responsible for the creation of education and professional development programs and strategies. In both roles she has led teams through significant change and growth in member offerings. Prior to this, Sarah worked in Australia, Europe and Asia in a variety of national Learning & Development and Executive Management roles, the two most recent having been the National Learning & Development Manager for KPMG and Head of Learning & Capability for Hutchison Telecommunications (3 Mobile).

Earlier in her career, Sarah worked in training and development in the fields of sport management and organisational psychology, consulting to organisations such as the AFL, Cricket Australia, Tennis Australia, NRL, major banks, pharmaceutical companies, state government, utilities, resources and manufacturing companies.

Sarah holds a Masters of Business and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) and Certificates in Training, Coaching and Counselling.
